The short version: the tool is free, the resume you make is yours, and there are no guarantees about job outcomes. Nobody could honestly offer those.
Using this service
MyATSResume is provided free of charge with no account required. By using it you agree to these terms. If you do not, please do not use the site.
Cost
There is none. Every template and every feature is free, with unlimited downloads and no watermark. There is no paid tier, no trial that starts charging, and no payment is ever requested. If you encounter anything on this site asking you to pay, it is not us — please report it.
Your content
The resume you create belongs entirely to you. I claim no rights over it and could not access it in any case, since it never leaves your browser.
The templates
The templates are free to use for your own resumes, including for commercial job-seeking. You may not repackage or resell the templates themselves, or republish the builder as your own product.
What is not promised
This is the honest part.
- No guarantee your resume will pass any specific applicant tracking system. ATS software varies widely and vendors do not publish their parsing rules.
- No guarantee of interviews or job offers. Formatting gets your resume read; its content decides the outcome.
- The ATS score and job-match percentage are guidance based on published best practice, not a verdict from any real employer's system.
- The resume importer reads common file layouts but will not interpret every document correctly. Always check the result.
Your data is your responsibility
Because your resume is stored only in your browser, clearing site data, switching device or using private browsing will lose it. Download a copy of anything you want to keep. I cannot recover lost work, as I never had it.
Availability
The site is provided as it is. I make no promise of uninterrupted availability and may change or withdraw features. PDF export and file import rely on third-party libraries loaded from a public CDN; if that CDN is unreachable, those features will not work.
Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, I am not liable for any loss arising from use of this site, including lost resume data or unsuccessful applications. This does not affect statutory rights that cannot be excluded.
Privacy
How information is handled is set out in the Privacy Policy.
Changes
If these terms change meaningfully, the date above will be updated. Continued use means accepting the current version.
